I'm a Fantastic Blogger

You know, the way I keep you guys updated every week. You prolly get tired of all my posts.

I haven't updated in a long time since I haven't really been taking pictures of anything... sadly. My winter was fairly uneventful until we went East for Christmas, which was an insane amount of fun! For some silly reason I just didn't really take pictures. (obviously too busy having fun) So I'll post the three that I do have. But first, a picture of when we had like 14 inches of snow. It looks deceitfully pretty, doesn't it?

Definitely one of the more unflattering pictures of me, but Kierra's cuteness just melts my little heart so I don't care. Her adorable bed-headed self was trying to get me to blow a bubble with my gum so she could pop it. I could just eat this picture! Oh and Tonia of course looks fabulous too. ;)

My amazing friend Heather and I. I can't even describe how much I miss seeing her almost every day.

And Debra, who is coming to see me in like 2 1/2 months! =D I'm so excited.

There's so many pictures I wish I would've gotten... like pictures with my family and stuff. But that's how I roll. Ugghhh.

This year my birthday landed right in the middle of a stay-away job Daryl was on, so the day before my birthday I drove over to where he was at and spent my birthday there. Since he was obviously working I tried to keep myself entertained in this tiny little town of Eureka, but it was pretty uneventful, so I drove to a lake and took some pictures, and just drove around.

I started walking across this bridge, but only got a little over halfway because of the barbaric wind blowing straight through my bones.

I did stick it out long enough though for pictures. =D

The fur on my hood wasn't particularly enjoying the wind either.

And there's the bridge that I was meandering across.

Daryl and I actually just got back from a trip to San Diego with his family... they're staying there for a whole month while Mark does taxes for people. Since tickets are so cheap from here to San Diego and we had basically free lodging, I convinced Daryl we couldn't afford NOT to go. ;) He wasn't quite convinced, but I think he's glad we went. =)

The beautiful sunset the evening we got there!

We went to an organ concert, which was amazing!

There were so many perfect picture spots. =D

All of the kids! There's quite the flock. We also went jet-skiing the one day, and while Daryl and I were waiting for our turn, we rented paddle-boards. =D Daryl is sitting on his paddle-board not because he's frightened, but because he is picking up jellyfish. haha

We got to go to Sea World, which was amazing. I would have gotten pictures of the shows, but we were sitting in the front row and I didn't want my camera to get wet. ;)

A really bad quality picture of a really cool giant octopus!

One of the water rides there... it's a good thing it was a warm day, cause I got cold the way it was! Naturally. Why would I expect anything else.

We got to go biking on a trail with the ocean on both sides. It was gorgeous!

Playing some super intense beach volleyball... or not. It was still fun though, of course. =)

We got to go to a nice restaurant for brunch a few mornings before we left.

The whole family-amily.

The last day we were there Daryl wanted to go to some museums, and since us girls didn't find it super thrilling to be in an aircraft museum for like 4 hours, (it wasn't even that big) we breezed through it and went and made our own fun. Derrick, you're probably the only other person I know that would maybe take almost as much time in a museum. haha

The gigantuous park where the museum was at had a section of adorable little houses like this, each representing a different country. You could go in and try their food, and just see some of the country's character. =)

So many cool doorways!

The picture of Daryl and I was taken on the beach the last evening we were there. =(

I apologize for my lack of creativity in trying to make this more interesting... I have been on the computer way too long and now have a nasty headache. haha. And just in case all these smiling pictures of me have deceived you guys into thinking I am a normal human being, I'll leave you with this, uh, wonderful picture of me being a creep.

I find it amusing that Daryl doesn't look the least bit surprised that I am doing something eccentric.

Love you all!
